F.O.N.E.S – Friends of North Elmham School ; are a small group of parents, teachers, local community members whose aim is to advance the education of pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between the staff and parents with the school and to engage in fundraising activities to provide facilities and equipment to enhance the education of the pupils.
We work together as a committee and team to organise fun events to raise money.
The funds raised are greatly appreciated by the school and we happily accept any kind donations, big or small. As always we are immensely grateful to all those who donated to our causes.
Last year we raised a lot of money with some small fundraising ideas and this year we plan to offer even more events for the children, parents and the wider community.
The funds we raise are greatly appreciated and subsidise school trips, new equipment, support extra-curricular activities and the main aim this year is to enhance the outdoor area of the school for the children to enjoy.
Some of the ways we currently boost funding – Bake sales every Friday afternoon, Recycling Clothes Bank, Bric-a-Brac Sales, Book Fairs, Refreshments and Tombolas at school events.
We hope to create more fundraising events, such as – School Discos, Bingo Night, Sponsored Walks, Film night, Community Raffles, Quiz nights and much more!
