How Hill Day 1

We’ve had a fab first day at How Hill. We’ve been on a nature trail, hugged a few trees, done some dyke-dipping and some weaving. The children are now all having a play in the gorgeous grounds as the sun sets.

Follow the link to the Google photos album for a closer look. I will be updating the album during our stay, so do keep checking it for new pics.

We’re Here!

Hello from How Hill! We’ve had time to settle in, unpack our bags and have a spot of lunch.

We’re now off to do a spot of pond dipping!

⭐️Planetarium⭐️

We were all lucky enough to visit the planetarium at Stibbard today, where children learnt about our solar system and constellations. We are sure this will inspire some fantastic space poetry as part of our book week activities. Many thanks to Stibbard for inviting us!

Dove class trip to Sheringham Park

We had a lovely day at Sheringham Park on 14th February. Children learnt all about Stone Age survival skills, including shelter building and making fire! The weather was amazing and the class had great fun working with children from Stibbard school.

The Year 5s and 6s went on a trip to London with our partner school, Stibbard All Saints, on Tuesday 12th February. We arrived at Greenwich, taking in the sights of London. Then we walked over to the Maritime Museum and learnt about the history of boats around the world. We briefly saw the Cutty Sark before we hopped on the river boat and cruised on the Thames. Our journey ended at the Houses of Parliament, where we saw Theresa May in the House of Commons debating with MPs – the children were in awe!

London update

Our estimated time back is currently saying 8:50pm. We’ll let you know if that changes.

We arrived safely in London this morning. We started off our day at Greenwich and we’re now currently on the river boat, taking in the sights of London, making our way to the Houses of Parliament.

T @ 2

Some Year 5/6 children went to The Institute to sing to an audience of people from the village, then mingled with them and served drinks and refreshments – a lovely afternoon of community spirit at the T @ 2.
