Year 2 and 3 visited The International Aviation Academy. We boarded a live aircraft, met a pilot, cabin crew and sat in the cockpit. Back in the classroom we had circle times and lots of dress up! A great day to consolidate our learning about The Wright Brothers and inventors this half term.

Today, we enjoyed our trip at Gressenhall with Stibbard. We had to help Cinderella and Jack (from Jack and the Beanstalk) find all of the special objects from the fairytales that the Wicked Witch had hidden!
The children were exceptionally behaved and had a fantastic day!
Our winners of the Primary Engineering competition.
8 children were selected from Year 1, 2, 5 and 6 to go to the Aviation Academy in Norwich with their vehicles for a celebration event with other schools who participated.
We have had a lovely morning at the Tennis Festival. We explored lots of tennis skills and worked really hard at all of the activities. 
We’ve had an amazing final day. Glorious sunshine and fantastic children. We’ve had so many compliments about their manners, behaviour and willingness to have a go. We’re very proud of them.

Another great day. Same activities, different groups, much nicer weather.
What a brilliant day! We split into 3 groups: Group 1 have been climbing and abseiling, Group 2 have been up to Malham Tarn, pond dipping, Feb building and walking, and Group 3 have been caving. We might have got a bit soggy but it didn’t dampen our spirits. Follow the link to view the album from the day.
We’ve had a great first day. Uneventful journey up, delicious dinner, fantastic walk to Malham cove and now to bed.

We had a great time pond dipping this afternoon. The children were very well behaved and they found lots of amazing minibeasts. It was a lovely way to celebrate the end of SATs. Well done to all the children!
